What is the NHS Pharmacy First Service?

The Pharmacy First Service, launched on 31 January 2024, allows community pharmacies like Strawberry Hill Pharmacy to manage and treat seven common conditions without requiring a GP appointment. This service is designed to offer convenient, fast, and expert care right in your local community.

How the Service Works

Walk-In Consultations

Simply visit Strawberry Hill Pharmacy, and our pharmacists will assess your symptoms.

Treatment & Advice

Our expert pharmacists will provide self-care recommendations and, if necessary, supply appropriate medication, including certain prescription-only medicines.

NHS Referrals

You may be referred by GP practices, NHS 111, urgent treatment centres, or hospital emergency departments.
